Healthy peer relationships within the context of inclusive education at the second stage of primary school

The main aim of my Bachelor thesis is the issue of relationships between children of the same age within the common education ? inclusion on the secondary school. School surroundings is a very important and significant factor, which helps childern to break out of dependence on adults and leads to self-reliance and responsibility. The significant part of the school surroundings are classmates and the class teacher. Their function is to form not only the climate of class, but also the climate of school. The inseparable part is also the assistant of the teacher. The aim of my thesis is to describe situations how can the pubescence pupil, who has a light brain disorder feel in school surroundings and how perceive it its classmates.
Psychological aspects of obesity in adolescence

The thesis deals with obesity in adolescent population and with its psychological aspects. At first it focuses on obesity from the medical point of view. It presents diagnostics, epidemiology and etiology of obesity. Subsequent chapters describe complications and treatment options of obesity considering the period of adolescence. The larger part of the thesis analyses the psychosocial aspects of obesity. It focuses on the personality of obese adolescents, on family lifestyle and relationships with peers. Furthermore it analyses the issue of incidence of pathology with a focus on eating disorders. The empirical part proposes a research design which focuses on relationships between obese adolescents and their peers. Problems of Socialization of Children in Foster Care in Secondary Schools

This thesis is focused on the process of socialization of childen growing up in foster care families at secondary schools. The aim is to describe the process of socialization in two main social groups for these chidren - foster family and school class - and describe some specific behaviour of these children in the process of socialization, their perceptions of foster families and the school community. By qualitative interviews was examined socialization proces, from the perspective of foster parents, classroom teachers and children. The study compares three cases of foster family, successful and unsuccessful socialization by the subjective view of participants. The research results suggest that these children adapt to a new environment with varying success, their group beviour is different and sometimes deviate significantly from their environment, which may be due to lack of family background and security of biological families

TITLE: Peer relationships of children in early adolescence placed in foster home AUTHOR: Anna Rezkova DEPARTMENT: Department of Psychology SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Pavla Presslerova, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The bachelor's thesis is focused on peer relationships of early adolescents, who were placed in a foster home. The thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part deals with adolescence as the stage of human development, with different types of adolescents' relationships with peers and moreover with institutional care and its impact on child's personality. The empirical part includes a description of the methodological design and presentation and interpretation of results. The discussion compares and puts into context the results with theoretical concepts introduced in the first part. The main aim of the thesis is a probe mapping the form of peer relationships of early adolescents placed in a foster home. The thesis also ascertains whether the peers are for clients of the foster home a source of social support. This was proven. It was found that early adolescents placed in the foster home Dolni Pocernice prefer to establishing relationships with peers outside of the institutional environment. Reflection of socialization discrepancies among adolescent clients in social services

This diploma thesis is focused on selected aspects of socialisation of adolescents. It examines natures of interactions of adolescents and adults, emphasises social relations perception and pursues the influence of authority on socialisation processes of this group. The thesis was written in a theoretically-empirical approach, given that the theoretical part clarifies the above-mentioned areas of research. The empirical part, on the other hand, applies the qualitative research design. The respondents group consists of adolescent boys and girls, all of whom are clients of OSPOD (Department of Social and Legal Child Protection) and curators for adolescence. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, analysing the issue of relations with individual socialisation variables and their reflection in the curators' point of view. It is assumed, socialisation processes and interactions are conflicting to a certain extent. In respect to their further development, it is necessary to understand these particular development symptoms and their perceptions. The outcome of this research is further elaborated and discussed in accordance to academic resources. Special Attributes of Adolescent Behaviour and Communication

This thesis is based on theoretical findings in the area of developmental psychology and focuses on the period of adolescence. The aim of the thesis is the description of specific features of adolescence as a developmental period typically associated with certain types of behaviour and typical language usage, mainly in the area of vocabulary. The thesis aims at linking description of intellectual development with linguistic alasysis to specify norms of communication within the youth subculture. Theoretical claims are verified by data from empirical research in the form of a survey and linguistic analyses of both audio and video recordings and samples of written communication between adolescents. The thesis accentuates the term youth subculture and puts forward that one of its main characteristics is a specific area of vocabulary which helps to strengthen peer relationships.
The influence of the school climate on the quality of integration of a handicapped pupil

AND KEYWORDS This diploma thesis deals with the impact of school climate that has a strong effect on the success in integration of handicapped pupil into the mainstream school. In this respect main terms which are related to "school climate" and "integration" are defined. Work more specifically focuses on individual types of handicaps, analyses principles of various handicaps and specific educational requirements needed for social relations. It furthers deals with the subjectivity of success in integration. Presented diploma thesis further concentrates on the social status of the handicapped pupil among his schoolmates, his social interactions and the role of the teacher as the main factor in the problem of integration. Empirical survey is oriented in a narrative way; the key method used is narrative dialogue, as it is able to recognise autobiographical experience of respondents. Each narrative dialogue is interpreted and completed by narrative reconstruction of core narration.
